Is A New President Going to Make a Difference

Forgive me if I sound a bit apathetic. After 50 years I have earned the right. I have seen presidents come and go. Heck some have even been serviced in the oval office, allegedly. The point is I’m no better off or worse off that if they weren’t elected at all. I have what I have or don’t have what I don’t have because of me.

I think this might be where the democrats and I have a difference of opinion. They seem to want the government to give others and I everything as some sort of American born birthright. The Republicans on the other hand want people to earn their way and of course take care of big business along the way.

So what is the government’s responsibility? I’m my opinion it is to provide me a safe place for me to live, Ill tend to the other stuff myself. I wont vote this year for the first time n my life. Obama lacks the experience I would be looking for in a president, McCain cant make up his mind whether he is a Republican or a Democrat or somewhere in between. This election doesn’t have anyone I would take the time to vote for.
